  • I first became acquainted with Tito Puente through his drum playing on a song called "Amazing World", which was on a Rockapella tape I owned. He was listed as the main performer on that particular song, so it took a while before I realized he wasn't the one singing. At any rate, that was before I saw this clip on the show (as a kid I mean), so when Elmo introduced him, I knew just who he was.

  • What year was this?

  • The Elmo's Salsa!!!

  • what a wonderfull man he was, look at them kids dance and enjoy the mambo music. tito still rocks in heaven that is.

  • Hahahaha Elmo's twin!

    There are all of them!

Tito es leyenda. Grande de la salsa, héroe del ritmo.

  • la salsa esta much Calor.

  • RIP, Tito

  • de la puta madre GRANDE TITO q viva la salsa

  • there is not enough Tito on youtube.

  • The instrument is called "timbales" because there is two of them. If its only one of them is "timbal" but I dont think you will ever see that because "timbaleros" (the person who plays timbales) Always use two or more.
