The National Center for Preservation Technology and Training advances the use of science and technology in preservation.

Nelson Hall is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Lee H. Nelson (1927-1994), a distinguished National Park Service architect and Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, was a pioneer in preservation and a mentor to many in the field. He joined the National Park Service (NPS) as a summer intern in 1958 and retired as the Chief of the Preservation Assistance Division in 1990.

The Natchitoches Preservation Network includes groups and individuals who are working together to preserve the heritage of historic Natchitoches, Louisiana. These places really do matter, to all of us!
