@hotpointwml540 ah interesting. I know that they are now both part of indesit and that Creda was originally part of Hotpoint but you do have some good knowledge then. That just proves that Creda is as long lasting as Hotpoint was in those days. My creda condensor dryer is about 13 years old and it has had no replacements or services whatsoever.

@ChucklevisionmanII Creda was origionally part of hotpoint and the two companies worked together. However, when hotpoint finished buildiing their WM7x series, they would allow creda to take the design of the earlier hotpoints, e.g WM64 And adjust the front fascer switches. The machine in this video i saw a few days ago and it was being done up to work again. But this machine is not that much different from its original design anyway. Indesit now own the 2 companies.
