NATO expansion remains the most significant matter blocking US-Russia relations, says Stephen Cohen a professor of Russian Studies at New York University, who believes there is a lot of dogma in the US about Russia.

  • Think a little bit about what you're saying. You are doing exactly what they want. You need to separate the people from the government. It is a conflict between governments, not between you and I. I would never judge you by the actions of your government, you need to learn to separate me from activity from the Bush Admin, Obama Admin, and especially Political History. I am not the embodiment of US History so don't connect me to it.

  • well said...

still tho, Americans didn't protest as my country was being bombed. So many Serbs got killed and a majority of Americans didnt care at all. What about Iraq? Why arnt you protesting? Doesn't that make you responsibly? I'm sad to say, American foreign policy has NO morals. By extension, American people have no morals by association. Lastly, even tho I resent the fact that Americans dont seem to care, I understand your point in separating actions of the government from the people.

  • Why does NATO always have to screw everything up for the US and Russia? Damn!

  • We're on a road that only a few elites have the map to. Were we are going, who will suffer next, what is the goal and final destination? I haven't a clue - but I am just as lost as the rest, I am just not the one getting scraped by the thorns on the side of the road, hit in the face with rocks from the pavement, or sucking the dry dust cloud left behind. But I don't think I'll be here forever.

  • I don't drive a car, I don't watch television, I have not voted for a winning president ever in my adult life, I am about as far removed from responsibility as I can get for what our government does in the world. I have no choice in the matter. So, my point is, some Americans do care. Some Americans do regret the actions of the government. Many Americans do protest against US foreign policy. There is not much that can be done from my perspective.

  • Our hypocritical religious and self-righteous agendas fueled by a scary selfish need to eat more fast food, drive bigger cars, and laugh at the rest of the world. So yes, I see where you are coming from and how you would expect me to be more active. But believe me, there are MANY Americans as disgusted with our foreign policy like I am. Disgusted with our need to consume. Disgusted with our "crusade" in the name of democracy and religion.

  • I completely see your point, and I would feel similar if the you sat on your hands while my family, my heritage, my history was being destroyed by your government. I can say few things positive about the American people as a whole. The lowest common denominator of this country is embarassingly low.

  • So... NATO leaders want to exterminate themselves?

  • well "NATO" is pretty much United States and United States is pretty much the ruling jewish elite in that country so you are saying that you problems are with jewish elites

  • IRAN is the buffer of RUSSIA.

WHILE IRAN IS SAFE AND STRONG

    RUSSIA CAN'T BE TOUCHED

ONE must fall before the other can be touched.

GET THE S-300s in IRAN, for the LONG TERM SECURITY OF RUSSIA.. dumbasses

  • USA = Us Sick A-holes...
