Entrepreneurs are all around us. I drove to my neighborhood food market and spotted an entrepreneur in action.

His pavement sign reads: Winston's Unlimited Hand Wash and Detail (see video for cellphone number).

His truck logo reads: Power Washing, Gutter Cleaning, Window Cleaning, Residential & Commercial.

His business is licensed and brings the service to his customers at location of their convenience (work, residence, etc.).

After I came out of the food market, he waved me over and we spoke for a few minutes.

He shared these elements of his business success: in business for 20 years, married for 16 years, six children, caring for his family is important, and he does it for Jesus, who guides him through his imperfections.

He offered that the wash-and-detail business in Raleigh is competitive, that it is better to choose mobile over a brick-and-mortar location...but if you can manage both, that's good.

I will add, based on our conversation and assessment: knows the neighborhood from past exployment, developed his customer base on a first person level, knows how to meet and greet the public, is confident of himself and the service he offers.

Disclaimer: This is the first I have met this gentleman. He was kind enough to send a few minutes talking with me. I hope I have faithfully presented him to you.

Location of filming: N 35.816044, W 78.66077.

  • @PartySan007 Another thing to note is that in areas where there is a water restriction, there are waterless car wash solutions, which use virtually as much water as a 5-10 gallon bucket if you use the two-bucket method, and the dirty water is also biodegradable.

  • @PartySan007 Just about ALL automotive detailing products are environmentally friendly/biodegradable and does not add to the pollution.

If you choose your products carefully, the city that you are operating in cannot fine you.

They cant even get you for waste water because the same water that drains into the street/drain, is virtually the same as rain water when all of the products you use is biodegradable.

  • How about polluted water around that business? No regulations in USA about waste water? Very strange!

  • good man who needs company ceo sitting in a office whipping the gruns

  • Cool Entrepreneur.

    Cool video.

    Thanks man!
