you really know nothing about computers :P

@colonforsecs G4's did "smoke" P4's (well, P4's smoked themselves too with those uber temps haha, but I digress). RISC architecture is a more efficient CPU design. it does more per clock cycle because it has more room to do it and uses fewer instructions to do them (hence the RI bit). Compare the best Xeon now to an IBM POWER7 and you'll see the POWER7 totally "smoke" those too. Apple only moved to Intel because they were more pro consumer rather than server/workstation focused like IBM.

From wgere can you download the processor ussage and temperature. Please answer . Great video

Yeah, the megahertz myth, they told the world how "powerful" the g4 was, and how it could smoke a pentium 4. Was never true, just stupid marketing hype.
Apple isn't the best technology company, they're products are mediocre at best, but they really know how to market.

64 bit would give you a higher score. I have your system with just 8GB of ram and I'm registering a high of 13701. Check me out on mob1278. I've had it for 1 day now and this thing is crazy, I don't feel bad about paying what I paid for it because this system 5 years ago would be tipple the price and I know everyone does not have one.

I ordered my mac 5 days ago, 2.26 octo with the ATI card and 16 GB of RAM, my current computer clocked in an amazing 1536 with Geekbench.
After seeing your benchmark, my only option is going outside and doing cartwheels until I become tired. I can not wait! :]
