The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League has suspended Val-d'Or Foreurs defenceman Marco Scandella indefinitely for hitting an opponent in the head.

The incident occurred in a game Wednesday against the Rimouski Oceanic ....

Its youtube not university I do not need to proofread read my comments and yes I did get the definition from Wikipedia its alot quicker and more accurate then making one up myself, and yes I know that Wikipedia is not extremely accurate but mane pages such as that are accurate enough. All I am saying is that the French can be classified as a race.

This is a so called hit that really was not a hit. They where going for the puck and Scandella got there first and he want to push him away (with should and elbow) but he was a bit further away and the elbow hit is face and not the chest. I am not saying what happened was not bad and should not be suspended for it, but there was no intent!

It depends what you classify as a race in a modern sense there is no such thing as races, but if you look at history a race is defined as the physical features commonly seen as indicating race are salient visual traits such as skin color, cranial or facial features and hair texture. In this sense a race can be whatever you want it to be. So in saying that bashing the French is racist is a completely rational statement.

you should not be putting yourself in that position its just like a hit from behind if you turn at the last minute it is not the other guys fault for hitting you. Its the same thing with lunging for the puck you are putting the other guy in an awkward situation he is already heading to hit you. Look its hard to tell with replays its slowed down and you arent right in the action, it is easy to make a call on a play from off the ice try putting yourself in his skates.
