surprises me that the users at IGN think this is crap..okay hold that tohught, they know nothing about good games. All they know is to shoot zombies. this concept took a long time to develop, and the developers were taking a real risk here by making a game that does not fit into the action genre that everyone plays today.

from what i can estimate so far:
Ruby is highly depressed about her life. she wants to be an adult fast. she thinks being an adult is going anywhere, talking to strangers, smoking cigarettes, etc.
she may have been the typical good girl gone bad type.
and when she actually does such things, she gets in some guys car and they die in a car crash?
this is just my guess from the items she interacted with, the scene, and the stuff she said. >~<

I tend to see all the Wolves metaphorically. Ruby seems to have a fascination with decay, and this guy seems like a representation of that. He's one of the creepiest in the game.
This game isn't about rape. That's much too simplistic. You have to think symbolically.
