The snow, or pixelazation you saw in the video after it went dark is when the imager in the camera as it went under the x-ray emitter.
That was radiation striking the imager. Similar accounts have been viewed when they send in remote cameras in to reactor #4 at Cherybol.
Can be seen at 0:25 to 0:26.
