The Concept
To recognize the contribution of professionals across a wide spectrum of occupations who have brought glory to the state of Rajasthan and contributed to promote its culture or to serve the people of the state in a selfless pursuit.
Owing to the mega success of Rajasthan Gaurav Puraskar- 2006, an event that was a jampacked runaway success and was witnessed by an audience of over 12,000. This mega event was covered by 'etc-hindi' satellite channel & 'Rajasthan Patrika'.The entire event was telecast on 'etc-hindi' on the 17th June 2006.
The Awardees
Ten professionals across several fields such as, Public Servant, T.V. & Cinema, Women empowerment, Media, Industry, Literature, Fine Arts, Social work, Sports and Performing Arts would be nominated for Rajasthan Gaurav Puraskar- II this year.

The Team
A highly qualified and experienced team of professionals including Naresh S. Baisla, Ms. Esha Devgan (Teena), R.K.Shara (Member Raj. Film City Project), Bharat Bharadwaj Ankur Yadav, Harish Sharma,Rakesh khatri, Sanjay Dattani (Consultant, Advisor, Lok Sabha Channel), Rajiv Ruia (Technical Director), Dinesh Gupta (FCA, LLB), D. J. Narayan (IAS), Saibal Chatterjee (Presidential Award winning Film Critic), Manoj Srivastava (Director- Goa International Film Festival and National Film awards) are the advisors in honorary capacity.

The Function

The function would also have a three days exhibition on 25th-26th-27th of October 2007 followed by the award presentation ceremony on 27th October evening amidst a grand gala at Aapno Rajasthan, Sikar Road, Jaipur.
The exhibition would be a multi-cultural craft/ food/ art fair targeting a daily audience of about 20,000 where-in the sponsors will display their products and distribute their pleasantries etc. The exhibition will be covered daily by various print, radio & television media. Also there would be daily celebrity visits on every stall followed by prize distribution. SET (70X50X5) specially designed and crafted by Professionals highlighting rich heritage and culture of Rajasthan

 The entertainers at the gala event are Bollywood's who's who.
 Parmeet Sethi/Archana Puran Singh and Hussain/Juhi Parmar would anchor the entire programme. Alternately, Rati Agnihotri, Poonam Dhillon, Padmini Kolhapure, Gulshan Grover & Bhagyashree may anchor and perform at the programme.
 Other entertainers include Malaika Arora Khan and Amisha Patel, Akriti (WE ARE FRIENDS MOVIE), Payal Rohatgi the famous artists from Bollywood, Singers of Indian Idol & Fame Gurukul & Most surprise stars performance.
 Comedians like Johnny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Raja Rancho and Laughter Challenge- III, would perform at the show.
 Singers Udit Narayan, Babul Supriyo, Bhuppi, the Punjabi Pop Star, Akriti Kakar and others would also perform.
