In a space of only a few hours, Hurricane Irene dumped more than ten inches of rain on Windham, N.Y., turning creeks into rivers that rushed down the town's main street. CBS News national correspondent Jim Axelrod reports.

  • that is i upstate windham PPL. I LIVE HERE!! A HOUSE WAS FLIPPED OVER!

    upstate is everything north of poughkeepsie

    some even include poughkeepsie

  • Most of that footage is not even from Windham - it's from Prattsville - which was devastated. Windham was bad but nowhere near what they had in Prattsville.

  • sad story but that is not upstate NY. its not even Mid-State. Watertown, Plattsburgh...those are in Upstate
