Nice catch and release. People need to understand that the big fish are usually females that will spawn hundreds of thousands of eggs. Also, the bigger fish aren't as good tasting.

37" does not typically equate to a 40lb bass. I would say maybe 30lbs at most but nice fish anyways. Love how the folks in the background are all chiming in on his decision to release it. I hope he was able to do so.
