It was on January 17, 1972 that the armed robbery took place -- leading to a shoot-out with Shreveport Police; but nobody died. Witherspoon was under the influence of LSD; being under the influence of ANY drug, or liquor of any kind can totally warp your sense of judgement. For instance, you might feel like: "I'M ON TOP OF THE WORLD! I CAN DO ANYTHING!!!" Which you do; and before you know it, you're on your way to jail. o:'-(
