  • Should i buy the shoninki and true path of the ninja to understand how the mechanics of Ninjutsu works and how to apply them? i was thinking of going with Anshu jacobson's home study program.

  • @Ryutobi They are both the same book. First go for the free Pdf's, then get True Ninja Traditions, it is easier, then get True Path of teh Ninja.

  • Why in some parts of the vid, Cummins is frequently cut off as he is talking? Is that your doing?

  • @Primape92 (I am cummins) no, when i filmed it i did not put enough gaps in, so when we sent teh footage to the show they had to cut me off! My fault.

  • but were does modern Ninjutsu unarmed and armed fighting tecniques comes from? they seem kinda unique confronted to more traditional rigid martial arts???

  • @Kenshiroit they started in the 1950's with a man called Takamatsu, who took them from certain places and made up a ninja martial art

  • I've always suspected Hatsumi is full of shit. Good video.

  • p.s why do you pronounce it "ninjutsu" nt "ninjitsu" ??

  • hey antony where did the interest start ???? great book btw!

  • @raysetiger285 I think most if us are too stuck on movies, for whatever reason, and are not being realistic about what being a ninja nowadays should be. Another different thing is the study and research about historical ninjutsu, that is of course quite interesting, but I think it shouldnt be mixed with nowadays situation and needs

  • @raysetiger285 I said he was apparently a "hidden" ninja because I think I was told people (like his neighbours) knew about this after his death but I might be probably wrong and it might just be a "urban legend". "Fujita Seiko: The last koga ninja" book answered my question. Anyway, things have changed a lot since the Meiji restoration, and the epoc we live in now has nothing to do with the sengoku period or later. A ninja has to adapt to times, that secrecy has no use nowadays.

  • @ablancok If he really was a ninja he wouldent be a very good one if he anounced it to the whole world now would he. Kind of goes against the fundimentals of ninjutsu

  • the modern ninja still exists and was being used as late as the mid 90's. See the Project Camelot vid with Bill Wood you'll see all the areas of study mentioned were/are being taught.

  • @HistoricalNinjutsu Hi, I have been in Bujinkan long ago and I liked it, but thats not the point, im open minded and I am inclined to agree with your statements about ninjutsu. Watching your vids a question came to my mind... who was then Takamatsu, the one supposed to teach Hatsumi sensei? who apparently as I was told was a "hidden" ninja? What do you know about this? thank you. Very interesting the research you do.

  • this anthony guy is really one of those with problems, he is not even japanese im actually loss for words that this kind of guy exists, i would love to see some of his talking put to reality.

  • real ninja master splinter real ninja enemy not samurai but shredder to become real hero in a half shell one must eat PIZZA and disguise himself by only covering eyes with socks of zorro not mask and hat. your shell is your protection.....
