You know what I've always wanted to see? Footage of kids playing in the mud, set to this song. When I was a kid - I probably sound like one sick puppy, but - I always enjoyed watching girls my age get muddy. I could tell they were having a marvelous time.
-
I could see Link Hogthrob (from "Pigs In Space") either singing this song or introducing it for a "Sesame Street" video (even though he wasn't on that show).

Miss Piggy approves.

I remember both the cartoon version and the film version of this song from when I was little, and I've always loved them both.
-
Yup, that's the one.

@Garrettk41 The dude that sang You're A Mean One, Mr. grinch.

It's really hard not to squee with joy when they show the little piglets running through the tall grass at the beginning. REALLY HARD.

I like pigs from spider-pig

There was another pig cartoon with a particularly nasty theme.....cant remember what it was called, but i remember one of the lines......."Now scram!! Before i slice you into ham!!" I shouldnt be surprised if it was banned due to its Nazi overtones.
For those of you out there that may remember, this is NOT originally how they aired this. The man singing about being a pig was dubbed into a cartoon about a pig dancing in a pig pen. This film footage of real pigs had the actual audio included of pig squeals and grunts. They just took the audio of the cartoon and added it in with this film. Once again, trash the original and change it. That is Sesame Street's way now!

Well I pretty much new this wasn't the origional version but I don't know why they'd put this on old school if it isn't the origional version. And yeah,I know how you feel mstatz,I don't like it when they recycle something on Sesame Street I like then do a remeake of it.I was very pissed off when I saw they did a remake of "One Fine Face" by Ernie and Elmo.
