@srisner I realized a while ago that the two G strings are a lot higher than the other strings, I think its a truss rod issue, but I have never adjusted that on any of my guitars or bass.

I slowed this down and put up a video for those who would like to see it.

Slow it down dude...especially for the beginners.

Nice job, but kinda of too fast if you're just learning...

would you mind providing tab. Thanks for sharing.

SRISNER, thanks for sharing the blues lick. Would you make another video and go a little slower, and tell which strings you are playing? I'm a beginner, so I'm a little slow, but would love to learn how to play the lick. Thanks your mandolin friend Linda
My mandolin action is great BUT my G string sounds wicked flat even when my tuner says its perfectly in tune. It ruins the sound of the rest of the strings when playing chords, the rest of the strings are totally fine. (BTW its both G strings) I might put a video up but can anyone help me?

@ndirishfan74 You might want to check your intonation. Using a tuner, hit the harmonic on the 12th fret and get the string in tune. Once in tune, fret that string on the 12th fret and if it is sharp your bridge needs to move back. If it's flat then the bridge needs to move forward. Hope that helps.
