Aaron and i have been doing alot of work in our backyard we found a birds nest so we left it as it had 5 eggs in it. They have hatched and we thought you may like to see them . The mum is fine and went back after we took this footage . We have not been back since as we don't wont to upset the mum.
Enjoy
Update:After doing our research we found out these birds nesting are MYNAS with the yellow beak which is a plauge in Canberra!
(Acridotheres Tristis)
We still felt funny about having to take them away but this morning the nest was empty and they were gone! The nests will be removed so the native birds can flourish!

  • Heya Glee

They are gone now and we found out they were MYNAS and they are bad for the other birds cause they get that flu thingy! We didn't remove them this morning they were gone it was odd.

    <3 ya lots!

  • Ahh the changing of the seasons! It's fall here, I should show you the amazing leaves right now!!

  • Oh please do i love fall but hate winter lol.

  • Years ago, i had a birds nest, which could be viewed from the bathroom window. Three birds and mum and dad would alternate the feeding. Its a real wonder to watch and we could do so from the window. One had fallen out of the nest which we did go an pick up and put back, cos the last thing i wanted, was for a cat to go eat it and it was hopping around into the open. Have been told once handled, the mum won't accept it, but she did. Its a marvel to watch the parenting habits :)

  • WOW Thats really cool i was told not to touch them . maybe they knew that YASHRN!
