Yeah, Mienh people have that too. and hmong people shoot their own people during the new year, thats why my buddy never want to take me to a hmong new year down south.

This is where hmong people like you go wrong. They think they're better than others and speak arrogantly. hmong like u are mindless people who only care to outshine others without realizing that we're a S.E.A community. To compare your community to other groups such as Thai, Mien, Lao, shows some insecurities in yourself. Don't deny other groups of their accomplishments simply because you cannot appreciate every groups' individual strides. hmong people like you need to learn to respect everyone

Seriously Hmong and Mien are quite different, yet many people believe they are similar. The similarity is way less than the differences. The Hmongs have accomplished way more, we have state senators, mayors, doctors, lawyers, teachers, etc. The Miens have fallen behind. They can never be compared to the HMONGS, even our new years are way bigger with more attendance. Laos and Thai New Years here in states can not be compared to our Hmong new years either. Enough said!
