Harassment on the computer or phones lines is aggravated which is serious but stealing identities of fellow YouTubers and stealing an identity of a city council member, Tony Avella and impersonating him on YouTube is perhaps even more serious. The first contact was the stolen identity Tony Avella asking me why I had not voted for him.

There is more to this story and other concerns regarding harassment. So go to the form and look at how YouTube defines harassment which is far more broad than I have described to you.

If someone continues to contact you after you have asked them to stop it is harassment and you need to go to the form and start filling it out immediately. If you are made to feel uncomfortable again go to the form because they are many behaviors that YouTube describes as harassment and unacceptable including rude behavior.

Please note I was mysteriously "Banned from YouTubeland" for 28 hours before the election which was extremely close rather than the land slide win predicted by the propaganda machine.

Great info, I have been to the police today over a cyber stalker which started just from using YouTube. Thankfully, at least here in Australia, the laws are extremely clear on the issue:

"Australians convicted of electronic stalking could be jailed for up to 10 years under tough legislation: Crimes (Stalking and Family Violence) Bill"

"This covers (but is not excluded to): Tracing a person's use of the internet."

My advice: If you are the victim of net stalking go straight to the police.

@karlkarlkarl1234 Agreed. The legal dept. sent me this form. If you search under YouTube there is yet another form as well. YouTube does not do enough and I believe they could shut down the multiple socket puppet accounts but they do not. It is important to contact the police and leave a paper trail showing how you reported the cyber stalker to the legal depts. of YouTube and Google as well as the police and any other authorities you can reach out to. Thank you.

@karlkarlkarl1234 Agreed. You can write press@youtube.com and them that. When YouTube bragged about a billion users they would not let me report hate crime harassment on this form. The reason is they would have had to terminate sock puppet accounts an half of their billion users are sock puppets. I have told the legal depts of YouTube and Google this form is offensive because to report hate crimes they stop you and ask you are you sure you want to report this meaning they don't want us too.

@SexyIslanders part 2 -- You can also get a a lawyer and serve Google and they will be forced to reveal the person's identity which leaves a criminal case and civil case. It is aggravated harassment to harass someone on the computer and carries jail time. You can also sue the person. I am guessing if they are under age than perhaps the parents are legally culpable as well since it is going on under their roof but I do not know for sure.

I would call the police and or write them make copies and write down date time of contacting the police re: your concerns so that you have a record of asking google youtube and the police for help. YouTube urges you to not respond to cyber bullies and stalkers. They r lonely, mentally ill - if u r scared 911

@texwolfie Have you seen the recent case where a woman got a court order for google to reveal a harasser's ip adres etc? If you still need the proof then check that out.

@texwolfie Okay, you need to go to a lawyer. The lawyer goes to court and shows the judge the evidence you have and than the judge serves Google which owns YouTube with the legal papers, can't think of the term this morning that forces YouTube to reveal to you who is harassing you. Here in NYC a case exactly doing this is happening right now! Also blogger is owned by Google and lawyer Steve Wagner successfully found identity of woman who made nasty comment thru this legal process.
