Wrong Oswald was seen by 5 witness escaping the scene , and he was seen loading is revolver. The officer talks about the hammer of the revolver, I think it's clear. That revolver stuff is a complete urban legend...

the gun Oswald had was a revolver, Officer Tippit was killed with an automatic and no witness ID'd Oswald being at the scene.Most witnesses described two different men at the scene, NOT Oswald.
