I got an audition this Tuesday! I'm so nervous but also excited. I'm trying to get in for Visual arts. I think this is really an amazing opportunity for kids in DC who has a hidden talent for things like this. I really do hope I get in!

I would do anything to go to this school. Unfortunately I didn't get accepted because of the amount of space :( , but that still didn't change my passion for art I just think that Duke is where I belong. My school is great, but I'm more interested in performing art schools *sighhh*

I went to school at Duke Ellington a couple years ago. Duke Ellington students are very amazing artists for such young ages. They're artists and they express themselves in as many ways as they can. Clothes just happen to be one of them. So back off, they're high schoolers.

@FlanowaJHopper lol I go there and I'm white. But considering how many arts schools are out there with only one or two black student it's nice to have an establishment that's the other way around.
