this was no war movie it's about something else something that words can't describe with precision it had affected deeply my way of thinking and my idea about the others , i saw it many times seems like i never get enough .

I've never understood why Saving Private Ryan received such accolades. The Thin Red Line was released around the same time and is far superior in virtually every way. The score is one of it's many devastating aspects. There is such depth to this film - it is a true masterpiece. Maybe people just don't always appreciate greatness. A pity for them.
