  • Definately outmatched against the Word of God, but the brother in Christ was a bit prideful and did not glorify God with his attitude nor his racism. This is not a good witness to preach the gospel, instead it was the attempt to win a debate.

  • How can any of you think he won the conversation? He was insanely prideful. I don't care what religion he belongs to or what he knows. He was a jerk which is the wrong way to live in religion or society in general.

  • He wasn't talking down to the Mormons he was simply pointing out to them that they do not represent Christ and they are not Christians. He quoted the bible accurately and wasn't wrong, LDS do not believe in the Jesus Christ of the bible, and their teachings are in direct conflict with the bible. They therefore have no grounds to speak on the biblical Jesus Christ.

  • @cindybin2001

why do all you LDS say the same quotes? Instead of spouting the same rhetoric that all LDS do, why don't you compare the doctrine of the Christian faith and the doctrine of the LDS faith and cite the scriptures references for each?

Much more productive way of interacting with each other.

If you believe the Bible, then we should discuss how the Bible fits in to our doctrine, right?

  • @CelebritySlayer How was he prideful? Because he was correct and he knew it. Was this pride in excess? No. And who are we to judge him anyway? Only God can truly judge the heart of a person.

  • @angelcollector22 We believe in the Bible--the LDS church will bring you closer to Jesus Christ and the Bible than any other church.

  • @cindybin2001

According to Joseph Smith when he asked which church to join: "I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong, and the Personage who addressed me said that ALL their CREEDS were an abomination in His sight"

A creed is a formal statement of religious belief.

    Joseph Said "ALL their creeds"

So, how can you say that the Mormon church believes in the Bible if our CREEDS are taken FROM the Bible?

  • This is all pride! You can't cut off someone's nose and then give them a rose to smell!

  • @chasmriscraig

If that is the case, then shouldn't there be only one Church with the Bible? Because when one man quotes scripture then everyone should agree with that man (note the sarcasm). If you want to use your argument, then we should all be Roman Catholics. None of the Reformists should have ever disagreed with what was being taught in the Roman Catholic Church as they quote scripture in their services and justify their teachings with scripture.

  • @chasmriscraig Oh for heaven's sake. I'm a convert to the Mormon church, and we do believe the Bible! But the guy in this video quotes things and misunderstands them and twists around the doctrines of the LDS church to make us sound like weirdos. I've seen it all before. He just wanted to try and prove the missionaries wrong, but they are not wrong.

  • @RaptureOrTribulation Outmatched by the word of God? The black guy didn't know what he was talking about. I'm a convert to the Mormon church and I know the LDS missionaries are in the true church and were just trying to share the gospel with anyone who would like to listen. The black guy was rude and obviously has some misconceptions about the Mormon church.

  • They're both wrong.
