rest assured. Sookie is not turned. At least for 8 seasons including this one..lol. We shall see next year when Ms Harris releases the next installment though.

I don't think they could kill Layfaytte off like that as it would not make sense for Bill to kill a person that Sookie worked with and knew. It would be harmful to his "mission" from Sophie-Anne for starters. Besides, We wouldn't want to change the scene where they find the killer in the book. (Eric in Pink and Aqua Lycra)

I watched this special today On HBO with alan ball. He hinted that one change might be the fate of layfaett. After he said this it cuts to the scene when sookie first saw bill after the fight with renee. When bill said that " He had feed". Now, they never revealed who he had feed on but after the scene with bill they cut the scene where you saw layfayetts' reaction to something coming at him. Alan also hints as to why erics hair is now shorter.
