@hnicky So, what if there was corruption prior to his tenure. Isn't it his job to curb corruption. If Manmohan Singh was a CEO of any decent company - he would have been fired from his job.

@hnicky We don't have a great PM, if we did India would have guts to pass a law like US did and enforce it to bring back wealth in Swiss banks. I guess I will never understand why Indians are blind to the corruption of the leaders. How much proof do people want to kick out these guys from high offices.

@GUNIDAS Being an Indian requires keeping the country of your residence safe & clean & productive, & harmonius. Which requires letting the other people live the way they do. It does not require changing your perception of the divib=ne, which is a very subjective thing, as I can gurantee, no one has ever seesn the divine, it is an experience that is strictly personal. Just like you cannot tell the taste of the mango that I ate.

As an Indian non-Muslim, I am proud of such Muslim scholars who live in my country and hold and express such views fearlessly. I believe that this is true Islam, the religion of love and justice. I wish all Muslims should be like this scholar.
