I have a conservative friend who made fun of Obama's tire filling suggestion, and then I reminded him that 6 months earlier he recommended I keep my tires inflated to proper pressure because it saves gasoline. Go figure.

Obama did the right thing. Of course he should of took the plane, do you know how much of a hassle it would of been if he flew on a commercial plane. The extra security scrutiny would just delay things for those people flying, and inconvenience to those people. So, yes I do believe Obama made the right decision going on the campaign plane instead of a commercial plane filled secret service.

Blakeman doesn't realize that alot of times children are takin care of by grandmothers, b/c mothers are going to school or can't take of them for any reason. as the child grows older the grandmother sometimes is more like a mother thats how it is with my situation.

and there is more of the same BS coming out from the GOP today. One of McCain's top people did the same thing. The thing is the more they talk about it the more money that will be sent to Obama to pay for the trip and more. They just are stupid.

If I were a donor to Obama, I wouldn't mind that money being used to help him see this sick grandmother. What I would mind if I were a McCain donor is that Ms "Small town values" over here is spending campaign money on 5th avenue stores.
