I'm a student, but these students are just pathetic. They are behaving in a disgusting and disrespectful way. They are trying to be clever and smart, but they are just coming across as pathetic specimens of life with nothing better to do that take pictures of a police officer who really doesn't give a damn. They're just a bunch of pointless hippies with nothing better to do than try to undermine the law, to try to undermine the people that keep them safe in their beds at night. Sickening.

That is very dangerous situation. Uncovered police pigs can thank that group of reasonable people that he is not laying on pavement counting broken ribs.
Some day when people will lost their temper tactic of infiltrating pigs into crowds will end badly.

sure not everyone joining the protests are positive. but without those 70k people fighting for the rest of the millions of people in the 99% our voices will never be heard. it only has to take one person. there are a lot of issues in todays society and sitting back and not questioning anything is a big mistake. also police try to steer these protests in bad way by provoking violence, misleading people etc

The reason undercover police are deployed within groups like these is because of the high risk of crime. No matter what these obnoxious people think, their behaviour frequently departs from peaceful protest and descends into criminality.
They keep banging on about the 'one percent'. Generously assume, for the sake of argument, that 70,000 people are taking part in the Occupy movement in London. Even if that were so, they would represent about 0.1 per cent of British society. Not 99.
