He's in trouble by the Osha too. I just saw an article on their site about how he owes the workers and the government combined about 150k. Here's hoping this gets that redneck scum shut down.

If you had a look at unemployment rates (around 8%) and in lousiana (7.4%) there aren't many jobs available for unskilled labour. They often don't have a choice. It's not like other jobs are just sitting around that have much better conditions. It's not the case. These people are being exploited and all they're asking for is to be treated like human beings. Walmart may not want to do anything, but the american people shouldn't stand by and let this happen. It's just cruel.

IF you are here legally. . . .the solution here is simple. . . . walk out and find another job. Don't post here and there trying to get Walmart shut down because it is not going to happen. If CJ's is that bad then do what every other Legal worker in America has done at some point in time in their lives and quit your job. Then go find a new one.

As sad as this situation appears, it looks to me like the workers have it under control. Walk out. If their labor is in demand and no one else is willing to work from 1am - 5pm, their employer will have to negotiate. But if there aren't any better options for these workers, they will *willingly* continue working (not forced) for this guy. Shutting him down will put them out of work.

One place stated that he made employees babysit his kids for free while he and his wife went to the casino. What an arrogant idiot it is that will place his kids in the care of people he has abused and mistreated! I hope CJ's is SHUT down and Walmart NEEDS to be, but THAT'S not going to happen. I don't shop there, but the parking lots are full!!!
