From Walls of Jericho's 3rd EP, Redemption.

----------

There is a house in New Orleans,
They call the Rising Sun,
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy,
And God I know I'm one.

My mother was a tailor,
She sewed my new bluejeans,
My father was a gamblin man,
Down in New Orleans.

Now the only thing a gambler needs,
Is a suitcase and gun,
And the only time that he is satisfied,
Is when he's on a run.

Oh mother tell your children,
Not to do what I have done:
To spend your lifes in sin and misery,
In the house of the Rising Sun.

Well i got one foot on the platform,
The other foot on the train,
I'm going back to New Orleans,
To wear that ball and chain.

Well, there is a house in New Orleans,
They call the Rising Sun,
And it's been the ruin of many a poor boy,
And god I know I'm one.

  • @dblackcrimzon Thats because they used part of House of the Rising Sun.

  • @syst3mfailur3x That's so cool of them. Ow wait they didn't even make that song so that would make it kinda hard you know. It's actually a very old song from I believe 1978 by the skids, an english punk band

  • @Whisperfall Its a much older song then that, origins unknown as far as i know. It was an old folk song that originated in in New Orleans I think.
