How to Waterproof a Brushless ESC for Driving in Snow
One thing that you MUST know before you do this, is that it WILL void your warranty. However, your warranty will also likely be voided by water damage to the ESC, if such a thing should occur.
I used brush-on electrical tape to waterproof my ESC. In this video I demonstrate what I did with an old, fried ESC. The ESC's used are Castle Creations Mamba Max ESC's. The fried ESC broke when I was driving on thin ice at a creek near my house and there was a hole in the ice that I did not see, and the truck sank about 2 feet under water and was under the water for about 2 minutes.

hello i waterproofed my rc brushless truck but it cant go forward it vibrates

@dfmodels1 can it go backwards? if it can't go forward or backwards, it sounds like one of your wires is unplugged. If it can go forwards but not backwards then I'm not sure what could be wrong with it.

@OriginalDRK By one of the wires I meant one of the motor wires

dude DO NOT! throw the esc away, send it to castle for 70bucks they'll send you a new one ...or send it 2me lol 4 real

@248Samson I didn't throw it away and I'm probably not going to. And Castle doesn't send back new ESC's, they replace the broken components on the old esc's and send the old one back "refurbished." It's a nice service indeed, but I'm not sure if they'll appreciate receiving an ESC coated in rubber. Plus I already have a working one and I don't need 2.
