I saw this WRX at Cayuga a few weeks ago running high 11's. Guy said this video was his first mod when he was still running the factory TD04 turbo. I was shocked to see what appeared to be the present vf52 2009+ factory turbo under the hood. Can't wait to see more recent video if available.

You launch the WRX very good i must say, letting the car just ease into the launch instead of beating it and then grenading the gearbox like some people do LOL

It's like watching my car at the track, same white satin pearl as mine although i tinted my rear windows and i have a 2009

Stage 3 would entail a bigger Turbo + everything from stage 2. It can be as simple as a downpipe and bigger Turbo, but can involve all the bolt-ons plus internal engine work. This advanced stage is almost always a custom tuned map. There are companies that market "stages" differently but as far as Subaru talk goes, this is the general meaning. Hope this clears things up for you.

@ThatOneKidFTW Just to clear this up. In Subaru WRX talk, Stage 1 is a tuned ECU which may involve no other upgrades, but can include a cat back exhaust, or/and an after market filter depending on the map. A stage 2 ECU tune involves running an aftermarket performance downpipe. Stage 2 can be as simple as just the downpipe with no other mods, but can include a full performance exhaust, performance air intake/filter, EBC, or any other bolt-on other than a turbo depending on the map.

@fabiomigotto damn thats one hell of a set-up. probably well worth the money tho...yea you gotta post that once you track again
@fabiomigotto this is NOT a 95 Grand Prix, its a 1997-2003 model.

@Dutil35
95 isn't the model year listed, it's the trap speed the Grand Prix recorded at the end of the 1/4 mile. Hope this clears things up for you.

i just went xpt stage 1 this morning with my 08 rex. got a cat back and cold air intake...anyways, did you notice a significant difference when you went stage 1, cuz i only really feel it in 3rd. are you stage 2 yet? keep me posted lol :-D

@risingphoenix737 Yup, I noticed a big difference especially when launching the car with stage 1. Stage 2 got me an extra 3mph in trap speed. I since swapped in a VF52 turbo, Grimmspeed boost control solenoid, Walbro fuel pump, AEM CAI, ACT clutch, Streetlight flywheel, custom tune by Magnus Motorsports and a couple of other goodies. I have been meaning to go back to the track with this set up since the summer but havn't had the spare time yet. It should be good for mid to low 12's now.
