The song is on standard E, but his guitar is out of tune. It's not his fault for not knowing his guitar was out of tune.
Btw, I'll give you a quick English lesson:
It's = It is. "Example: It's time for you to stfu."
Its = a possessive pronoun. Example: "It puts the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again."
