Been meaning to do this vid for a while now, and just got around to it. Although I have many memories of Michael Jackson's 45 year career in the spotlight, I choose to remember him a certain way. As a teenager in the 1980s, there are images of Michael -- not only of his performances, but also of the way he looked, the things he did, and the people he loved, that will be forever etched in my mind whenever I hear his music. For me, this is the best and ONLY way I want to remember Michael Jackson. Other people may remember him as a child performer, still others for the disasters that befell him in the final 10-15 years of his life, but for me, this is what I think of when I think of Michael. For me, these are the images that will stay while all the rest falls away. For me personally, this is Michael Jackson.
I resisted the urge to use one of Michael's songs -- wanted to do something different, so enjoy Dinah Shore's version of "I'll Be Seeing You". And if you don't know who Dinah is, look her up! ;)

Aw- thanks llj! Glad you enjoyed. When I thought about what song I wanted to use, for some reason this is one of the first that popped into my head. It just captures the tone of how I feel when I think of Michael. And the pictures that I chose capture the images of him that I'll always hold in my heart. This is how I'll remember him. Again, I'm really glad you enjoyed. If I can find another song that inspires me, I might make a 2nd vid. Michael was too memorable for just one. ;)

cathie i just ran across ur video and this is more than awesome! i really love how u portrayed michael n this video. i'm sitting here crying! u could not have chosen a better song. and i agree with u, 4 those who dont know dinah shore, they need to look her up. excellent job.
