Sutton Junction Proposed Housing Development
Ashfield District Council (ADC) has elected to allocate land to the rear of Searby Road as being suitable for 1000 new houses.
The process has been conducted without consultation with the local community!
The area is represented by the Sutton Junction Residents Association (SJRA), a recognised group that came together to ensure that the local area would be improved for the benefit of the community.
During February 2010, a concerned neighbour from Coxmoor Road contacted the Chairman of the SJRA with a view to combine efforts to prevent the proposals for the area.
It's a shame that the video doesn't include the invaluable advice given by Jason Zadrozny rather than just the "I'll be on the bus once you get yourselves sorted" comments from the Labservative representatives. It seems to be a case of "I'll come along for the ride once you're successful" as opposed to "This is what you need to do to BECOME successful" that we got from Cllr Zadrozny our local Liberal Democrat Candidate - a resident
