Ms. Messuri is a chameleon of an actress. She would tell you she uses pieces of herself in roles, but I've not yet seen one that is really like she is in reality. She's a wonderful collaborator for a director and I am proud to have starred her in the films, and even more proud to call her a friend!

CRUISING PURGATORY was finished late 1999 and BROOKLYN in early 2002. I agree, Ms. Messuri is superb in both. Also check out Joe Pilato in BROOKLYN. He's such fun to watch -- an exellent, underrated actor.

Both films are great as are ALL of LoriDawns flicks... however I find it very funny that some of you actually confuse her characters with her... she is nothing like any of the roles she portrays except she is actually beautiful!
