Side by side comparison of the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust (05-10 GT & 07-09 GT500) and a Stock Exhaust on a 2006 Ford Mustang GT. As you can hear from the sound clips above, the difference in both sound and style is world's apart. See for yourself.
You can pick up the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back Exhaust for your 05-10 GT at http://www.americanmuscle.com/flowmaster-axleback-0510gt.html.

@SgtTrulyOdd yes it would make a big difference. even if it is single exhaust. and idk why wbc564 is calling it "ricey." its a exhaust. not a Borla pro exhaust system. If your looking to get American Thunder than go for it. Borla is the best but IMO, Cost + Quality = Flowmaster =D

@nigeleckzdee oh, sorry... i was referring to the americanmuscle video with their v6 w/ borla atak, i guess the atak wasn't a good example

@wbc564 @SgtTrulyOdd it actually wouldn't. I have a 2009 V6 with Pypes M-80 and it's pretty deep. None of that rice crackling whatsoever.

@SgtTrulyOdd no, the v6es had single exhaust. v8s had dual, even if you converted, it would prob sound ricey from only 6 cylinders

Of course it wouldn't sound the same as this probably, but I have a 2005 V6 4.0, would it sound decent even if it's a V6? I do electronics lol, I don't know shit from chocolate pudding when it comes to this stuff.

Ok, I thought it was just me... I truly think the 3V sounds a lot better than the new 4V 5.0 for some reason.
I can't explain it? Don't get me wrong, the new 5.0 still sounds great, especially in the upper rpm range. I just wish it sounded like the 87-93' / 94-95' 5.0 stangs. Oh well, it's still a sweet car though.

@JayStang4Ever
Get a custom tune for whatever octane you're using
If you don't have a CAI, I'd recommend getting a tuner/CAI combo from AM
Cost you anywhere between 550 and 750, courtesy of the Feds

@noonedude101 mod the PCM unit to let it spray more fuel u think? or is it all about the exhaust system?
