Railfanning "The Bridge" 09/16/11

By the 16th of September, I had been without a computer for a week and was a bit bored, so I decided to head out and spend a day railfanning to kill some time. It turned out to be a good decision, with plenty of train traffic! I am now on my new computer, and can finally get some of the footage I've shot in the past couple months out! Here's the log from the 16th I have, describing what is featured in this video. All scenes shot from the Erie Canal Trail Overpass west of Rochester, NY at CSX Chicago Line milepost QC374.4... I believe the train that the train you thought was K697 was actually K649 because that same power came down the CSX River line around this same time on K648.

NICE! Thanks for posting. 2 suggestions- frame left a little more. Set exposure and then switch to manual so that when light colored cars go by the center of the frame the exposure doesn't darken everything else to adjust for the car and make the camera "squint".
