  • Esta musica me hace sentir que la belleza en el arte, esta mas alla del tiempo.Lo escuchaba a los diecisiete años,cuando los naranjos estaban en flor y todo era posible...

  • Wonderful, thank you! She also did the best ever rendition I've ever heard of Handel's Concerto In G Minor Op.7, No.5: II. Andante Larghetto, e Staccato. I've been looking out for it for absolutely ages .... but no luck.

  • @paradoxicus Yo tambien me acuerdo cuando tomaba jugo de naranja

  • 3:16 - 3:32 this is like Passacaglia G minor!! ))

  • This is a really fine recording--it would make a nice alternative to my Peter Hurford/Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra set on London Jubilee (long out of print). Is the Alain/Freiburger set available (maybe on Erato)? Thanks for posting!!

  • The first movement, Andante, contains a quotation from the last movement, the passacaglia, from the Haendel's suite in G minor for harpsichord HWV 432.

I've been looking for that, too. There is a CD set from Alain available with that piece but I'm still looking for the version played by Alain with the Freiburger Barockorchester.

You might also like the 1975 version by Josef Bucher / Karol Teutsch. It was once produced on CD (digitized from LP) but no longer available. It is absolutely brilliant, played at the slow rate it deserves.

  • Amusant : les photos tirées de Wikipédia sont de moi... le monde reste toujours aussi petit.

Belle musique en tout cas !
