In this episode of, "A Cooking Video" I will show you how to make Beef Mechado. It's a Filipino style beef stew with a tomato base. It's one of my favorite comfort foods. This takes takes some time to make but you can either make this in a crock pot while you're at work or in a pressure cooker if you want to make it fast. So get ready for another great recipe!

  • The background music is over-powering some people or most people doesn't like any music coz it's kind of disturbing... You can use softer and more relaxing music but not to over power you.Next time.... God bless.

  • @Cielvak88 Thanks. You should watch the new vids.

  • What cut of meat would be best for mechado, topside steak or rumpsteak. Please advice. My friends are coming this Friday for dinner. Thanks heaps.

  • @GTHUSMA If you're cutting your own, I like to buy the simmering steaks like a topside. I just like a little fat for taste and you don't get that when you buy the pre-cut stewing beef.

  • It looks easy to make so I'll try this Friday. I'll come back and let youknow. Please keep on posting more recipes.

  • @GTHUSMA I'm not gonna stop posting recipes. In fact, you should check out the new videos. This one is a year old and I have dozens of new recipes since this one, including chicken sotanghon and lumpia if you like Filipino food. Peace!

  • @LadyBossianianz27 I did video myself with a handheld camera. It's been a long time since this video. Nowadays, I have a new camera but I still shoot alone and with a camera person. It all depends on what we're shooting. Thanks for watching!

  • do you video yourself? i dont think i can do that, i mean video myself, it would be so awkward especially with my cousins around, lol! i wouldnt be able to talk to the cam without laughing, lol..
