On Dec. 8, 2006, US Rep. Cynthia McKinney became the first US Congresswoman to introduce Articles of Impeachment (H. Res. 1106) against President Bush, as well as Vice President Cheney and Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice.

Though most Americans are still not aware that this resolution is in the House, the latest polls (Gallup, Zogby etc.) indicate that a majority of Americans now support impeachment. Many look forward to Bush becoming just another harmless resident of the United States.

As many of us ponder what may come to pass, history offers no foresight, and we alone are left to answer for ourselves....

I think I'd like to see US being a "positive" leader & not be dictatorial. The US on it's own cannot watch over the world. Talks of "getting it on" with Iran is totally absurd & ridiculous. Her troops are already stretched thin. Sometimes, I think you need more "mothers" in the government. Mothers add more common sense to a male's ego (I'm male btw)
