  • Is this in Port Arthur? .. my mothers home was ruined by hurricane Ike.. one of the construction workers, a young guy.... his great grandfather was the Big Boopers brother. I just thought it was an interesting story. RIP.

  • That is interesting. The Bopper is buried in Beaumont, Texas.

  • have you all gone to Ritchie Valens's grave?

  • Yes, we have. Ritchies is buried in California. We have been to all four of the graves of the men who died in the plane crash including the pilot Roger Peterson.

  • what city in california?

  • Mission Hills, California in the San Fernando Mission Hlls Cemetery.

  • it's a website called find a grave ya'll can find the graves there.

  • @TheFarmerfitz I figure he did something like that.

  • @MisterMasterShafter1 I read somewhere since that Elvis was very distraought when Buddy Died, and that he wired condolences to his family...

  • @brnleague99 All 3 guys suffered horrific injuries - skulls shattered open, literally every bone in their bodies broken and their faces mutilated beyond recognition. The coroner and investigators said it would have been impossible for anyone to survive that crash. So sad and tragic.....

  • @TheFarmerfitz I'm sure he was saddened. He was in the Army when it happened, and I've never heard anybody ever asking him about it.

  • @MisterMasterShafter1 I've often wondered what Elvis's thought's were on the subject...Never really heard..

  • for him to be such a big star he sure has a small tombstone!!!

  • In one of the stories I read about The Bopper being exhumed, they had a picture of the original coffin with him in it at the mortuary before he was buried. There was a guitar shaped wreath next to it, sent from Elvis, who was all the way in Germany in the Army at the time.

  • @eljefereal Texas has produced many famous people is why we have so many historical gravesights.

Its such a shame these men died far to early

  • Big Bopper, you will live forever in the hearts and souls of your fans, past and present, living and dead. Keep making great music in heaven for those who are with you and those who will join you. RIP Big Bopper (1930-1959)
