Inspired by Prof. Lisa Randall's book "Warped Passages", this is a musical portrayal of the idea that our 4-dimensional spacetime is embedded in a higher dimensional realm, referred to as the 5th dimension or "bulk". Dimensional objects are referred to as "branes" in string theory, our universe being a 3-brane.. Braneworlds are theoretical models of the multiverse which attempt to explain the behaviour of matter and forces with the string theory paradigm. By positing that higher dimensions are required for a complete, consistent mathematical description of string behaviour, various models have been suggested: this piece explores one such theoretical approach, the RS-2 model..
