  • I am currently experimenting with annotations on this video, so i'm sorry if you happen to wander by in the middle of things.

  • strange way to solve it if u ask me...

what i do is start from the inside and work my way to the outer layers ... same concept as the 4x4 and 5x5 just on a larger scale

  • yes, that is how it's done, this is just an explanation of the centers algorithm. I didn't mess it up and start solving a center to demonstrate the algorithm, i did it on a cube which i had messed the centers of the white and red sides up.

  • fun, what solution uses this?

  • eh this is just a video because someone asked me what algorithm I use to solve center pieces without disrupting the edges and corners. This is a variant of an algorithm from Elime

  • this makes my brain hurt AAAGGHHH

  • @serespeti95 gabbasoft cube demo :D

  • gabbasoft cube simulator

  • i guess it gabbasoft

  • hi. what"s the name of this program?.

    :D

  • This is only how to do the last two centers, because those are the trickiest. If you have ever solved a 4x4 or 5x5, you should know how to get the first 4 centers by using "open" or "unsolved" centers to form blocks which you then join to make a whole center block. What he is showing here is how to basically swap two center 1x1 pieces and basically add to existing blocks to make them longer. So try to get as many pieces onto their correct sidan, then start swapping with his algorithm.e, 8 for 8.

  • hey rob so what's the actual algorithm once they're in the same relative positions on the top and front? I'm sorry i got confused with the writing haha =)

  • Thank you.

    =)
