try tuning, it generally helps, you know... to make you sound right and sit with the background track....
and the whole pick/finger argument thing isnt about laziness its about tone and consistency, you infact should try it some time and you might actually get a decent sound out of that bass!

@aboddington Thanks for your "Constructive Criticism" ^_^
In truth the bass is actually tuned right.. however the pre-amp battery inside it is dying, which is making it sound like a tin can. Just haven't gotten around to replacing it yet. Good ears though! :D

Jason Newsted played with a pick in Metallica and he's an awesome bassist also Iron Maidens bassist plays with a pick so does Faith No More's bassist....
Pick is more awesome.

@Awayze LoL don't get too carried away by my video description :D ...I was only annoying my buddy cause I know he ~HATES~ it when I say pics are downright inferior lmao!
In truth is plectrums or fingers are PURELY a matter of taste. It's a matter of how you personally want your own instrument to sound.
Many would agree Victor Wooten is currently the best technical all-round Bassist there is walking the earth. Yet still I like RHCP's Flea -WAY- more ..everything is a matter of taste ;)
