Smallville- Hydro Alternate Scene

when i don't like the song they play for a specific scene in smallville, or if i think it could be done with better music, i change the song. this is what i call an alternate scene. it's the same scene, simply with different music. you'd be surprised how much it actually changes the scene.

This one is from Hydro where Lana comes to talk to Clark, and he of course acts like an IDIOT. i used "High and Low" by Greg Laswell. Again, this scene was too creepy without music so i just HAD to add some hehe.

for some reason, the sound came out kinda soft, so you might wanna turn up the volume a little bit

I'm just wondering, does Clark know that Lana's baby was a fake? I'm thinking whether she told him or he found out afterwards...does he know??

well, i don't think he knows its fake here. in fact, he doesn't even know in the season finale.... lana MIGHT'VE told him off camera or something but i doubt it. so yeah, as far as he knows, lana actually miscarried a real baby

well clark was gonna tell her he still loves her but then he found out she was pregnant with lexs baby and he wasnt gonna come in between that. he tried to be the good guy again and screwed himself over

I can't believe the writers never let Lana tell Clark there was never any baby. That's the only reason she accepted Lex's proposal and why Clark didn't want to tell her his secret. They both thought it was better for the make-believe baby. I could only imagine how mad Clark would have been to learn that. But then that would have made him look bad so they turned Lana bad instead. She was really abused and misused in season 5, 6 and 7. It's sad how people don't feel that.

Maaaan. This scene is just sooo good. Sad, though. At about 1:20 Clark has a teeeny-tiny smile on the edge of his lips. It didn't seem quiiiite like a denial/sad/shrug-it-off smile that we often see. Either Tom Welling made a funny in the bloopers or Clark had the brief but sligthly hope-invoking thought (amongst his despairing thoughts about her engagement) that Lana admits he's still a part of her life that she can't deny.
