This construction requires 3080 balls, if you include all the bridges. Four 19-ball hexagons = 76 balls. Add four 12-ball 2x3 tri-hexagons = 48 balls. That comes to 124 balls per tetra subunit. Twenty tetra subunits = 20 x 124 = 2480. Add an extra 2x3 tri-hexagon per vertex = 20 x 12 = 240. Dodecahedron without bridging is 2480 + 240 = 2720. Add thirty edges with 12 balls = 360. Full figure with bridging is 2720 + 360 = 3080.
