PASSPORT.MID played on a Roland Sound Canvas SC-55

A classic midi file played on one of the earliest general midi modules. The SC-55 came out 19 years ago, and I think it still sounds better than modern soundcards (at least the ones that still even bother to have a midi synthesizer on board :P )

Out of all the different synthesizers on which I've heard this play on YouTube, I like this version best. I think the overdriven pitch bend gives it a sweet punch!

@rjherie No one really knows for sure, I can only assume someone else from Passport Designs (simply from the file name). But someone has contacted George Stone (not me, someone else on another video) and asked him about passport.mid, he claims he has nothing to do with it.

The portamentos on the synth lead sound different on this module. (Used to playing this MIDI using Windows's built-in GS Wavetable synth.)

However, I like this SC-55 version better. The bass has a "resonance" to it and the electric piano sounds clean. Maybe George Stone used an SC-55 when he originally composed this module?
