Guys, I think you are all too worried about the iPod touch 4G battery life. The iPod touch was originally designed as an MP3 PLAYER and it still is! I know you have game center and games and apps and cameras...., but it is really an MP3 player. So it's perfectly normal to charge it once a day. I've had mine for a year now and I charge it every night. I find it perfectly normal.

Just wondering. On my iPod Touch 4th Generation. Running iOS 5.0.1 it doesn't have an option to fully disable notifications. It's one bye one. 😱 I'll look more into that!

Question: Are there any apps to help with battery life? (Free apps that you don't need to pay for full use.) Not mandatory but some suggestions would be nice. :)

the lithium ion batterys are ment to be completely charged upon first use. you shouldn't let the battery die and stay dead for a long time because the ions in the battery will start to "die" so to speak, and therefore lose battery life. so just keep it charged up and use it from time to time without to much time in between *like a month* and you should be good to go.
