@earthcomp sorry, it does. 4 - 1.5 in parallel (for storage capacity) = 1.5 times 4 (in series) = 6vdc. But who would do that. simply pack 4 large cells into one big battery, seems cheaper. 4x1.5= 6vdc

OR, think long term savings, and just get rechargeable, then you save money and reduce waste of batteries which are difficult to dispose of and are not good for the environment!
