Inspired by Chinese engineers, the SLM380 (self lifting machine) does not need to go around obstacles since it can left its body (NXT) to over come these obstacles. This concept was taken from the Chinese buses that are elevated to reduce traffic jams. Our robot is a prototype for a real machine that can save alot of time in mines where limited space for mobile objects is available.
